It's raining and windy here in Cape Town so the motivation levels go up and down. Up when you wake up, and down when you look outside to see driving rain... For the 12th day in a row!! But still it beats riding on an indoor trainer, so I don the wet weather gear and hit the road.

Moving to a new area, I don't know my way around that well yet, but I know where some good climbs are, like Ou kaapse Weg (old Cape Way) and Chapmans Peak, which is a very fast climb. There is also a climb called Kommetjie, and Slaangkop, and both of these are short, but nice and steep. Good for intervals!

Hey everybody! For those of you who haven't been to my space just yet http://joeycsc1988.spaces.live.com for a full update!
i have settled in nicely here and have my own room. I got my bike the other day and it is absolutely amazing! I met 90% of the team today and we all got along just fine. I was supposed to do my first race today as a support role, and to protect the main riders in the team for as long as I could. But a sore throat yesterday put an end to that!
