Illawarra Cycle Club
The Illawarra Cycle Club is located in Wollongong on the South Coast of New South Wales Australia. The Club holds Road Cycle Race meetings almost every week of the year. During the Summer, Velodrome Racing is also promoted at the Unanderra Velodrome on the Princes Highway.
The Club is for participants for all levels. There is no need to be Robbie McEwen or Cadel Evans on the first day you come out to the Club. We have 4 Grades ranging from those that are there to compete and attain the highest level in the sport, to those that are out for some fitness and enjoy the social aspect of the day.
All the members of the Club will welcome new riders and assist new members with various aspects of racing whether it be on the Velodrome at Unanderra or out on the Road course at West Dapto (Avondale Rd). Several riders have ridden at international level and have much advice and experience to pass on to those aspiring to dothe same and to those that want to be able to ride better at Club level.
So if you have a bike, enjoy riding it, enjoy talking to people, and perhaps would like to try a little competition in a friendly environment, come along and join in the fun.

Illawarra interclub - 19 June 2010
The Illawarra Interclub race entries close next Saturday 4th June. Please make sure you have paid your race entry fee $15, if not paid on 4th your name will be taken off the list and you will not be able to ride.
Also traffic marshals and volunteers are required for the event please contact Lou Jonceski, if you can help.
Barbara Wyles will also require names of clubs Commissaires able to assist on the day.

2010 Ken Dinnerville
Ken Dinnerville Memorial Race will be held this weekend starting from Dapto High School.
161 riders from across the state will be in attendance this year with the first bunch leaving the start at 10:00am.
Last years winner, Matt Backhouse from Eastern Suburbs Cycling Club will be returning to defend his title.

Jackson Law Fundraiser Night
Jackson Law has been selected to represent Australia at the Junior World Track Championships in Italy in August. We are having a Fundraiser Night for him (see attached flyer) on Saturday 5th June. It will be a great night, with lots of games and many prizes to be won.
If you would like to come, can you let me know ASAP, how many, so we can allocate seats for you. Come along for a good night.
