Thanks Peter for the quick upload.
After some discussion about whether the wind was too bad, the 4 teams and 1 solo rider did have a satisfying TT. It only takes 2 teams to have a competition. The challenge was on between Shane- Brando & Wally- Vince. The age difference of 57 years almost made up for the lack of experience, lack of TT gear and being 'psyched out' . The difference of some 35 seconds was fair considering Vince dropped a chain and had to stop, and Brando flew past the turn-a-round. At some stage Frank1 'lost' Frank2, who had taken a 'short cut' out of the wind (smart thinking!). In the meantime it was Gerard and Reece who really crept up and did a great time. OR perhaps Dean was the smartest, who after riding from Kiama, decided to do his TT sipping coffee in the comfort of the hut.?!
This was a very difficult TT back into a very gusty westerly. Well done guys. Shane & Brando must look out for challenge #2 when the conditions should suit better the more experienced riders!!
The riders appreciated the efforts of Juan, Damien, Peter, Phil & Liz who stood out in the wind.
