Please be aware and distribute the following information from the CA Technical Commission which has been posted on our website and published in the e-cycle newsletter:

Cycling Australia has been informed by the UCI and Giant Bicycles Australia that the MY2010 Giant Trinity Advanced SL bicycle has been deemed as non compliant with Article 1.3.021 of the UCI Technical Regulations. Following review of this decision and information received that Giant Bicycles have established a rectification program the Cycling Australia Technical Commission has decided that the use of this bike will be tolerated in Australian domestic competition. Non compliant bikes will not be allowed post 31/12/2010.

This interim tolerance only extends to the bike frame and all other compliance issues must be met. Please contact me if you have any questions.
