The Illawarra Cycle Club is the only cycle club in the Illawarra to offer track (velodrome) racing. Our track, Wollongong Velodrome, is located on the Princes Hwy, Unanderra.

Tuesday night track training continues at 5.30 with endurance based workouts to suit your road racing.

Bring your cool weather gear and join us under the lights from 5.30 to 7.30 every Tuesday.

2010 ICC Track Championship

The 2010 Illawarra Cycle Club Track Championship was the final Club track racing event for the 09/10 season.

The 2010 Track Championship was the third Club Track Championship held since track racing made a resurgence at the Club four seasons ago.

Thirty four competitors participated in the four race series : Individual Time Trial, Kierin, Scratch Race and Sprint.

Congratulations to the 2010 Champion, Chris Murray who has now made it three in a row.

Congratulations to the winners and runners up in the other Divisions.

ICC Juniors Excel at NSW Junior Championships

Five Illawarra Cycle Club U15 and U17 riders bagged one Gold, four Silver and two Bronze medals at the NSW Junior Track Championships at Dunc Gray Velodrome over the weekend 20/21 Feb 2010.

The ICC juniors claimed the U15W Individual Pursuit Gold medal and were prominent in the U15 and U17 Individual Time Trial and Sprint bringing home a swag of Silver and Bronze medals.

The NSW Track Championships were the culmination of many months of hard training by the riders and lots of driving and running around by their parents.

Congratulations to all of the ICC Juniors for a great effort.

FNTR Individual Point Score Comp

Week #17 was washed out. It was an unfortunate end to the Individual Point Score Comp as we were expecting some of the best racing of the season as the leaders from Week #16 fought to retain their position at the top of the table.
